Coastal Delicacy: Malvani Fish Curry

Experience the rich coastal flavors of Maharashtra with our Phoran Premium Malvani Masala. This authentic spice blend captures the essence of Konkan cuisine in every bite.

Ingredients:

  • 500g fresh fish (pomfret or kingfish)
  • 3 tbsp Phoran Premium Malvani Masala
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 4-5 kokum petals
  • 2 green chilies
  • Curry leaves
  • Tamarind paste

Method:

1. Marinate fish pieces with turmeric and salt for 15 minutes.

2. Heat coconut oil, lightly fry fish pieces and set aside.

3. In the same oil, sauté onions until translucent.

4. Add Phoran Malvani Masala and cook for 2 minutes.

5. Add coconut milk, kokum, and tamarind paste.

6. Gently add fish pieces and simmer for 10 minutes.

7. Garnish with curry leaves and serve with rice.
