French-Tamil Fusion: Puducherry Creole Curry
Experience the unique fusion of French and Tamil cuisines with this Puducherry Creole curry enhanced with our Phoran Premium Garam Masala. This dish represents the beautiful cultural blend of the former French colony.
Ingredients:
- 500g chicken or prawns
- 1 tsp Phoran Premium Garam Masala
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tsp Creole spice mix
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 bay leaves
- Fresh thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method:
1. Heat olive oil, add bay leaves and thyme.
2. Sauté onions until golden brown.
3. Add ginger-garlic paste and tomatoes.
4. Add Creole spice mix, turmeric, and Phoran Garam Masala.
5. Add chicken/prawns and cook until done.
6. Pour coconut milk and simmer for 15 minutes.
7. Season with salt and pepper.
8. Serve with French bread or rice.
