Royal Breakfast: Hyderabadi Nihari
Experience the royal breakfast tradition with authentic Hyderabadi Nihari using our Phoran Premium Garam Masala and Premium Chicken Masala. This slow-cooked delicacy was once served in the Nizam's court.
Ingredients:
- 1 kg mutton/beef with bones
- 2 tbsp Phoran Premium Garam Masala - 17 Spice Blend
- 1 tbsp Premium Chicken Masala - Protein-Rich Spice Blend
- 4 tbsp ghee
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tbsp red chili powder
- 2 tbsp wheat flour
- 1 tsp turmeric
- Salt to taste
- Fresh ginger, mint, and lemon
Method:
1. Heat ghee, fry onions until golden brown.
2. Add meat pieces and brown on all sides.
3. Add ginger-garlic paste, Phoran Garam Masala, and Chicken Masala.
4. Add all dry spices and cook for 5 minutes.
5. Add enough water to cover meat completely.
6. Slow cook for 6-8 hours until meat falls off the bone.
7. Mix wheat flour with water and add to thicken.
8. Simmer until desired consistency is reached.
9. Garnish with ginger, mint, and serve with naan.
