Himalayan Comfort: Arunachal Thukpa
Warm your soul with traditional Arunachal Thukpa enhanced with our Phoran Premium Garam Masala. This hearty noodle soup from the Eastern Himalayas is perfect for cold mountain weather.
Ingredients:
- 200g wheat noodles
- 300g chicken or vegetables
- 1 tsp Phoran Premium Garam Masala
- 4 cups chicken/vegetable stock
- 2 tbsp soybean oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 green chilies
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 cabbage, shredded
- Spring onions
- Coriander leaves
Method:
1. Cook noodles separately and set aside.
2. Heat oil, sauté onions until translucent.
3. Add ginger-garlic paste, green chilies, and Phoran Garam Masala.
4. Add chicken/vegetables and cook until tender.
5. Add stock and bring to boil.
6. Add carrots and cabbage, simmer for 10 minutes.
7. Add cooked noodles and simmer for 5 minutes.
8. Garnish with spring onions and coriander.
