Create the perfect crispy Rajasthani Pyaaz Kachori using our Phoran Premium Garam Masala, Premium Jeeravan Chat Masala, and Premium Sunday Family Masala. This flaky, spiced onion-filled pastry is Rajasthan's beloved tea-time snack.
For Dough:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 tbsp ghee
- 1 tsp Phoran Premium Garam Masala - 17 Spice Blend
- 1/2 tsp ajwain
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
For Onion Filling:
- 4 large onions, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp Phoran Premium Garam Masala
- 1 tbsp Premium Sunday Family Masala - All-in-One Spice
- 1 tsp Premium Jeeravan Chat Masala - Tangy & Flavorful
- 2 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 3 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp gram flour
- Fresh coriander
For Serving:
- Green chutney with Jeeravan Chat Masala
- Tamarind chutney
- Extra Chat Masala for sprinkling
Method:
1. Make firm dough with flour, ghee, Garam Masala, and ajwain. Rest for 30 minutes.
2. For filling: Heat oil, add chopped onions and cook until golden.
3. Add Garam Masala, Sunday Family Masala, and Jeeravan Chat Masala.
4. Add gram flour and cook until mixture is dry. Cool completely.
5. Roll dough, add filling, seal properly, and deep fry until golden.
6. Serve hot with chutneys and extra Chat Masala.
