1. Makhan Mishri — Krishna's Beloved Offering
The simplest and most sacred offering — fresh white butter with sugar crystals, lightly fragrant with Phoran's Green Cardamom.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup fresh white butter (homemade or store-bought)
- 3 tbsp mishri (rock sugar / sugar crystals)
- ½ tsp Phoran Green Cardamom powder
- A few strands of Phoran Saffron
Method: Soften butter at room temperature. Gently fold in mishri, cardamom powder, and saffron strands. Shape into small mounds and offer as prasad. Simple, pure, and divine.
2. Panjiri — The Sacred Prasad
A traditional North Indian prasad made with whole wheat flour, dry fruits, and warming spices — nourishing and deeply aromatic.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup ghee
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp mixed dry fruits (almonds, cashews, raisins)
- 1 tsp Phoran Green Cardamom powder
- ½ tsp Phoran Dry Ginger powder
- 1 tbsp melon seeds (magaz)
Method: Roast wheat flour in ghee on low flame until golden and nutty (15–18 minutes). Cool slightly, then mix in powdered sugar, dry fruits, cardamom, dry ginger, and melon seeds. Distribute as prasad or store in an airtight container for up to a week.

3. Dhaniya Panjiri — Fasting Special
A lighter version of panjiri made with coriander powder — perfect for those observing the Janmashtami fast.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Phoran Coriander (Dhaniya) powder, dry roasted
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp ghee
- ½ tsp Phoran Green Cardamom powder
- 2 tbsp chopped dry fruits
Method: Dry roast coriander powder until fragrant. Mix with sugar, ghee, cardamom, and dry fruits. Serve as fasting prasad — light, aromatic, and deeply satisfying.
4. Makhana Kheer — Creamy Festive Dessert
A luxurious kheer made with fox nuts (makhana), slow-simmered in full-fat milk and spiced with Phoran's Cardamom and Saffron.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup makhana (fox nuts), lightly roasted
- 1 litre full-fat milk
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tsp Phoran Green Cardamom powder
- A generous pinch of Phoran Saffron
- 2 tbsp chopped pistachios and almonds
Method: Simmer milk until reduced by one-third. Add makhana and cook until soft (10–12 minutes). Add sugar, saffron, and cardamom. Garnish with dry fruits and serve warm or chilled.
