🍲 Jeera Rice Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup basmati rice
  • 2 tsp Phoran Cumin Seeds
  • 2 tbsp ghee or oil
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 cups water
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander for garnish

Instructions:

Step 1: Wash and soak rice for 20 minutes, then drain.

Step 2: Heat ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds and bay leaf. Let them splutter.

Step 3: Add drained rice and sauté for 2 minutes.

Step 4: Add water and salt, bring to a boil.

Step 5: Cover and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes until rice is cooked.

Step 6: Fluff with a fork, garnish with coriander, and serve hot.
